With twenty years of People Partner experience, Lena Alvarez is a true HR generalist with a specialized focus in workplace investigations and employee relations consulting. She is passionate about building trust in the workplace - whether through proactive HR strategy or impartial, fact-based investigations.
Lena has conducted and overseen hundreds of investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, and policy violations, partnering closely with leadership and outside counsel to ensure fair, thorough, and defensible outcomes. Her deep understanding of organizational culture allows her to approach each matter with balance, neutrality, and respect for all parties involved.
Beyond investigations, Lena is known for elevating the employee experience - creating people programs that promote continuous improvement, best-in-class practices, and collaborative, high-performing teams.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management, an HR Certification, and has been recognized with an Exemplary Leadership Award. Lena is also an active member of SHRM and serves as Chair of the Executive Advisory Council for The City Tutors – NYC.
